Hiring Remote Employees

A remote workforce is here to stay and can be built and managed successfully with the right perspective.

The successful remote employee looks very similar to your “A” players in your physical office: self-driven, strong communicators who are pro-active in seeking answers and sharing their work. They have the technical expertise AND the inter-personal skills.

Hiring managers… protect yourself. Poor communication or motivation on the part of the remote employee will become a much, much harder problem for you to solve.

Remember, you won’t be able to physically see, walk by, or otherwise check on the employee throughout the day.
